Corresponding UTC (GMT)    Thursday, 22 July 2010, 15:30:00

Braindrop (Sumith Suresh) is one of India’s up coming Psytrance and EDM producers.Traversing through many genres of music in the past decade ranging from instrumental, fusion, world music, breakbeats, acid house, techno, trance to name a few with short stints in fusion and metal bands, a craving for the most futuristic sounds evolved.

The sounds developed through his labs are new age yet not missing the psychedelic touch. The rhythms are futuristic yet driving. The mood is mysterious yet energetic; demented but powerful. He has released music on various reputed labels within the genre such as Omveda Records, HSS Records, Ultravision Records, Shanti Jatra Music, Soundkraft Records and many more.

From atmospheric insanity to glitched moments, from lead driven energy to intelligent progressions; all these elements lead to the Braindrop sound experience.

He is the owner of Occulta Records, a new prog-trance, techno and IDM label based out of South India and a label artist/dj and A&R for Omveda Records.
