Akira is the project name Of Nevin Fernandez, a resident of Bangalore, India. Akira stepped into psyland in ‘01, when there used to be a very small group of people doing underground scenes.Previously a progressive dj, Akira started his psytrance scenes under the label T3sla, which later became Akira.

Akira now produces underground psychedelic and is with the Record Label “Namaha Records” (www.namaharecords.com). Has not released any music on the label as yet, and is currently working on a solo album due nov-dec ,’10.

Akira’s party style now is a twist of Forest Night music with some powerful and uplifting twilight music…
Experimenting on a new project which involves a mix of twilight basslines with morning sounds…
Generally, a fan of all kinds of Electronic including Psychill, Psy Dub and Trip Hop.
